Screamin' Jay Hawkins
Screamin' Jay Hawkins (Jalacy Hawkins, July 18, 1929 – February 12, 2000) was an American musician, singer, and actor, famed for his powerful, operatic vocal delivery and wildly theatrical performances of songs such as "I Put a Spell on You" and "Frenzy". Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Hawkins studied classical piano as a child and learned guitar in his twenties. His initial goal was to become an opera singer (Hawkins has cited Paul Robeson as his musical idol in interviews)

Faery Reject
A departure from my earlier experimental sound. This is somewhere between horror-pop-punk & emo. However, I think it's best described sonically as the theme song to Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets What's New Scooby-Doo in a way. It's the lead single to my new project Parabysmal. Out on Youtube, Bandcamp & Audiomack. Pending release on all other streaming platforms.more

Why I Couldn't Sleep
*sorry I'm not sure what genre I belong in -- if you have any idea please comment- I think this song aligns with blues but there's no blues option- it was electronically produced and is a bit minimal. Maybe jazz in terms of improvision and lack of structure but I don't know anymore. Written in July, sung and produced by me for my upcoming album Composed to Pieces. Pending release on streaming platforms. Lyrically it's self-explanatory.more
